For the interior, I want it to just be a one-seater vehicle. Unlike cars though, I want it to look more like a cockpit instead, because the controls for a mech would be more complex than cars. Some notable features in the interior include: a joystick to drive, seat slider, climbing gear storage, and a harness-like belt.

For the props, because my character is a mechanic, I thought the props could either be a wrench, solder, or hammer. I made it so it looked different from the real object, with a design that fits with the vehicle.

Next up, I painted the values of both the interior and props. Using the same values of my color palette in the vehicle exterior, I assigned values to each component based on the material it would represent.

Afterwards, I just filled in the color following the values I used.

Lastly, I applied textures on the colored results. I warped them to follow the perspective and shape of my drawing, and used blending modes while adjusting the opacity to get the look right.

REFLECTION
I liked how the results turned out for this project. Although I think the interior could use more details with more mechanical components, I think the overall look fits the concept of the vehicle.
