REFLECTIVE WRITING
For the second project of DPI, I got to apply the knowledge I gained even more and got the chance to put my own twists into my work. Not only that, the importance of feedbacks this time is further reinforced as my projects went through many changes to be satisfactory. This was more apparent in the poster design project as getting the right balance for a good composition was altered a lot.
I have seen works like double exposure before but never thought much of it. After it was introduced to us and was taught on how to make it, I gained more appreciation to these works. This is especially true for the phenomenal double exposure works I found on Pinterest which I cant grasp on how to recreate. Although the process isn't that hard, looking for the right pictures to realize the vision was one of the biggest challenge.
The projects this time were still fun. I enjoyed the experimentation process that always happen behind the scenes, trying out different layouts, colors, etc. The poster design project was especially fun as I enjoyed taking pictures of random things in my room to incorporate into my design. The slides in particular was funny to me because of how well it worked as a background.
